CentraState to hold children's health fair CentraState Medical Center will present a free Kids Health Fair for children of all ages and their families on Sept.6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St., Freehold.
Activities include a teddy bear and doll clinic for kids to bring these types of toys to be"examined."The first 100 registered guests receive free teddy bears.There also will be a bicycle rodeo and helmet safety check for kids age 6 and up to bring their bikes and helmets and learn about bicycle safety, proper helmet wear, biking signals and more (preregistration required);various agility tests for kids ages 9 and up;and healthy cooking demonstrations, including healthy lunch box tips, child obesity information and dietitian advice.
Guests can take tours of CentraState's Michelle and Jennifer Tobias Adventure to Health and the Fitness and Wellness Center. Information about the various programs, classes and services at CentraState's award-winning Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center will be available along with many giveaways.
