CentraState to hold annual Baby Fair May 8

CentraState Medical Center's popular Baby Fair for parents-to-be and those considering a pregnancy will be held May 8 from 6-8 p.m.at CentraState's Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.

A variety of mother/baby service and product vendors are scheduled to provide information and free gifts.Participants can meet CentraState's obstetricians,pediatricians, family practice physicians and hospital staff.Guests can learn about CentraState's First Impressions Maternity Center and meet the nurses who staff the labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum units and the Special Care Nursery.

CentraState has set new birth records for five consecutive years, reaching 2,026 deliveries last year. Since doubling the size of the Maternity Department in 2002, patient satisfaction scores reach the 90th percentile among peer hospitals nationally, according to Press Ganey Associates patient satisfaction measurement firm.

Tours of the First Impressions Maternity Center will be provided during the Baby Fair.The first 200 registered guests receive a free T-shirt featuringThe Diaper Duo, CentraState's illustrated maternity characters. To register, call (732) 308-0570.
