Local doctor publishes book on healing through upper cervical care Dr.LarryArbeitman, founder of Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Monmouth in Morganville, has recently published his first book,"The Gift of Hope: The Path to Healing through Upper Cervical Chiropractic."
As an upper cervical chiropractor, Arbeitman has seen the effectiveness of upper cervical care in addressing a wide variety of conditions, including the symptoms associated with back and neck pain, headaches, allergies, vertigo, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease/herniated discs and trigeminal neuralgia.
The specific technique thatArbeitman uses is known as NUCCA, named for and developed by the National Upper Cervical ChiropracticAssociation. While traditional chiropractic care focuses on adjusting individual segments of the spine (vertebrae), the NUCCA procedure concentrates on aligning and rebalancing the entire spine by adjusting only the top vertebra located at the base of the brain stem, called the atlas.
Dr.Arbeitman's vast library of patient testimonials, along with the results of many years of scientific research that has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the NUCCA technique, bear witness to the patient miracles that have occurred worldwide using this technique.
In writing this book,Arbeitman's sole motivation was to increase the public's awareness of the healing art of upper cervical chiropractic. He stated,"Although upper cervical care is gaining in popularity as a viable alternative, our profession does not have the financial backing to get the word out to the media. I needed to create the media that could be distributed by people to other people who have tried other methods of care and found them lacking or unable to adequately address their particular health condition. It's at that exact moment when someone thinks they have tried everything that's available that they need to give upper cervical care a try."
