Zumba: A fusion of fitness, music and dance
The Latin workout sensation comes to Ladies Workout Express
During the weeks of Sept. 17 and Sept. 24, LadiesWorkout Express will hold free Zumba fitness classes.

Hip rolls, shimmies, shakes, and the beat of Latin-influenced music - put it all together and it becomes a fun, aerobic fitness form called Zumba. Created by Miami-based trainer, dancer and choreographer Alberto"Beto"Perez, Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is enjoyable and easy to follow.

LadiesWorkout Express, on Route 79 in Marlboro, has recently added Zumba to its group fitness classes. In an effort to give everyone the opportunity to experience this new workout, Ladies Workout Express will hold free classes the weeks of Sept. 17 and Sept. 24. These one-hour classes will be held as follows:

Mondays at 9 a.m. Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursdays at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturdays at 10 a.m. Zumba blends Latin and international music with invigorating dance and fitness moves incorporating salsa, merengue, reggaeton and cha-cha, to provide an enjoyable and effective workout to participants.Created in the mid-1990s, Zumba is a phenomenon that has swept through across the world, encouraging participation by people of all ages and fitness levels.
